Update on us down in Vegas (remember us)

Hello! so I need to update my blogspot page but will take time so I am waiting for a day off. Just wanted to let everyone know what we are all up to. Jaxson and Alexa are doing amazing thus far in the school year both progress reports have come back straight A's, (please please let it be this way all year) Here is a picture I took of them before school I just love it.

Jaxson's head is doing well and he is back to his own tricks. In this next pic his head is caught in his scooter (don't ask) he got it locked and had to have Gave pry it off, (lack of common sense comes from the painter side)

We recently took a day trip to Red Rock for a day of hiking and Brody's first day out on one of our family outings, he did great while hiking we crossed paths with a HUGE great dane, brody just froze it was classic. Alexa thought it was a mini horse, we were sooo not expecting to see it come around the corner I was tooo shocked to get a pic. He was beautiful standing on all fours we looked almost eye to eye. I took a ton of pics of the scenery we actually found leaves changing on trees, yes I said trees not bushes. We came down a dirt road that was covered with yellow trees heres a pic

Work is still going well for me, I will be posting for a relief manager postion, and a Trainer position for January, I really want both so we will see. The move to Oregon is still up in the air we are still a little cautious with the economy don't want to make a huge jump so far and end up worse off than now with jobs. We recently did a pumpkin decorating contest at work and this is my teams pumpkin I am really proud of them, I gave them an idea and they all jumped in and worked together, we won last year first place, we had made our pumpkin look like the creapy character in the saw movies. Tell me what you think!

Nothing really too new coming up for us. I am making the kids and Gabe participate in a a BLM clean up day at Red Rock this saturday with my company they will be spending the day picking up liter, trail restoration it will be a good learning experience for us all. I will try and get pics. Gabe is doing well still trugging along he is sooo amazing with the kids as much as it is hard for him being laid off he jumps right in and helps make sure the kids get to school, helps with their homework, as much of an ass he can be he makes up for it being such a great family man. Well I know this was extremely long hope you all like it look for my page to be updated.

My Visit Home

This last weekend was a lot of fun! I went to Matt's cabin with his friends. We had a lot of good laughs. Our Food was awesome as usual and it was great weather! Only a few of us stayed over night but the next day we went to Strawberry Point and Cascade Falls. We took Andy and Nicole with us. We had a way good time. Thanks everyone!

Then, Saturday afternoon Matt and I worked on our little projects. :) Matt built this way cool bookcase/hutch whatever you call it. Anyways... we started painting it. It is still a work in progress but here is a picture of the process.

I made these....

And this. What a project night!

Then, Sunday I got to spend almost the whole day with my Mom!! We went to lunch and to good ol Walmart. We chit chatted and had a good time!

That evening we went hunting with Bob and my brother, Justin. It was a last minute decision for me to go, but I'm SO glad I did!! I didn't take any pics (I don't know why cause Mom and I were rockin the orange!) But anyhoo, we made good memories and had a lot of talkin time. By the way... if I had a gun and the will to kill a deer I would have got one! It was so close to me... No one else, but me! My bro was too far away from me to get him there in time. That's about it for now! OH, and here are a few pics of my VERY UNDECORATED apartment! Don't judge me. I have no money to buy cute decorations!! Good heck decorations are friggin expensive!! It too is a work in progress. :)
My Kitchen....
My Bed...

My work station...

The rest is pretty bare aside from my clothes so there ya have it!

Oh and here is my new decoration.. It was way too expensive, but I loved it. WELL WORTH IT

MY UPDATE

It has been a while since I have been able to blog. It seems all I do is work. So I thought I would take a minute and bring us up to speed on a few things that has happened..Yeah, Tricia has been gone for over 3 weeks. I miss her so much. Work is extremely weird, without her. My house is so quiet. It echos. My bathroom doesn't have curling irons and hair dryers all over the counter. The living room is alway clean. My office is empty, without her stuff. Her bedroom seems cold. But I am trying to adjust. Maybe that is why it is so easy for me to stay at work, so late. Bob works late, all the time. So going home to an empty house is not that big of a thrill. She is adjusting too. Its hard for the two of us to move on because we are so close. But we will make it work. WE ARE WOMEN! HEAR US ROAR!!

So a few fun things have happened since my last blog. After we bought the travel trailer, we went camping, 2 times. The first time, Bob and I went by ourselves. The second time we went with Trish and Matt. (that was the blog, Trish wrote, about our 4 wheeling experience).

I got to go to the Nascar Truck Races in Vegas. That was so much fun. We only spent the day..but my favorite truck driver (next to Kyle Busch), Mike Skinner, won the race!

We have had a couple of grandkids, enjoy birthdays. Bob's birthday was in October. I am hoping in November, Bob and I are going to Phoenix, to see the race. Below are a few photos I took. Enjoy!

Yup, that is me in my new trailer. I look happy, Huh?

Bob is wondering how in the world we are going to pay for this thing.

Trish is helping fix us food!

Mike Skinner, posing next to his Toyota. He knew I was taking pictures as fast as I could. He stopped long enough, for me to get this picture. This was before the race, just before practice. It was very cool, being so close to the drivers. Skinner has been my favorite truck driver because he is older, he drives a Toyota (like me), #5 is my lucky number and he is from a town called Susanville. It is destiny :)

He won the race!!!! The fireworks after, were very pretty!
